I just finished reading this book and trying to do what I read.
We have exactly 24 hours everyday, sleep 8 hours, work 8 hours and what we're gonna do with the others 8 hours?
The Other 8 Hours shows how anyone, anywhere can use even just a few
extra minutes each day to make more money and feel more satisfied.
You’ll begin looking beyond your job, your commute, credit cards, or
even just that gnawing feeling that life is sometimes passing you by.
You’ll get fresh solutions for carving out more time. And you’ll find
the inspiration to spend that free time in a more productive way -
whether it is starting a business, writing a blog, losing weight, or
developing a hobby.
I often do something useless that waste my time and energy. Actually, I don't know the reason and purpose to do those things. It is just a habit, a very bad habit.
Cutting my nails in a whole Saturday and cleaning my room in a whole Sunday, for the perfect tidy result? Yes, absolutely. But I realize my perfectionist attitude is killing my time.
Perfect is good, really good, but we don't need everything to be perfect.
I cut some useless activities to get extra time and try to do something useful.
Reading, exercising, learning about stock, writing this page, going to church, attending some events, singing and having quality time with somebody are my new activities to get more precious result than just the perfect tidy nails. I never get the perfect tidy nails actually.
How about you? Have you already use your time wisely?
How about you? Have you already use your time wisely?
"Let him who would enjoy a good future waste none of his present."
