1st Winner of Cooking Class

What an impressive title, right? I cooked for the first time and guess what??? I was the first winner.. Taraaaaa...  

This cooking class was held by Cosmopolitan and Nanny's Pavillon on Saturday, June 30th, 2012 at Nanny's Pavillon Pacific Place, Jakarta.

I am member of Cosmopolitan Mailing List, we hold regular event once a month to get close with each members.

This time, the event was held in Nanny's Pavillon, French American pancake restaurant. All of the Nanny's Pavillon outlets are designed to depict a particular residential zone. These are the themes of each places where Nanny's Pavillon open her arms to welcome new families.

                                     
 
We made double pancake, original and chocolate with customize topping depend of each participants.

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 tablespoon white sugar
• 1 1/4 cups milk
• 1 egg
• 3 tablespoons butter, melted

Directions

1. In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk, egg and melted butter; mix until smooth.
2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Pour or scoop the batter onto the griddle, using approximately 1/4 cup for each pancake. Brown on both sides and serve hot.
